Melanie Remple

Foundation Secretary

Melanie was born in Fargo, North Dakota and spent most of the next 22 years residing in North Dakota.  After graduating from the University of North Dakota with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, she worked as an Information Management consultant for Cohasset Associates in Chicago, Illinois.

Melanie’s maternal great-uncle, Ferdinand Framstad, joined the US Army in 1937.  As a Rainbow soldier, he was the 1st Sergeant of Company K – 222nd Infantry Regiment of the 42nd Rainbow Division during WWII.  Fernie’s mother and sister always took great pride in the fact that Fernie was selected to be a Rainbow soldier.

In addition to being Secretary for the Rainbow Division Veterans Memorial Foundation, Melanie has also served 2 terms as a Board member of the Hutchinson Area Health Care Foundation, and is currently the Secretary for the Hutchinson United Soccer Association.   She is also a member of many patriotic lineage societies, such as Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), and has served, or is currently serving, as an officer of those organizations as well.

She and her husband Tim have two teen-age boys and reside in Hutchinson, MN.
