make plans to be with us in Birmingham! We always look forward
to another time to get together with Rainbowers for fun and fellowship.

Rate is $86 plus tax per night.
Please call the Marriott Central Reservations center at (800) 321-2211
to make reservations. In order to receive the special group rate,
ask for the 42nd Rainbow Room block at the Birmingham Homewood Courtyard
Hotel, Event Planning Manager, Carma.
The hotel rate is
available until the cutoff date of October 18, 2011. After this
date, the special group rate will no longer be available and any
remaining rooms will automatically be released back into Hotel inventory.
Any available rooms will be offered at the regular hotel rate for
those dates. Please make reservations early!

Thursday November 10, National Veterans Banquet $23
Friday November 11, Peace Luncheon $21
Van Rental $16
Total Per Person $60
Please send *$60* per
person to John Wallace as soon as possible so he can purchase our
meal tickets and reserve the bus. That way maybe he can get us seated
together for the Banquet and Luncheon. Breakfast on Thursday, November
10, the day of the Tour, is Dutch Treat.

A big thanks to John
Wallace for arranging the details for this event. Thursday morning
we will load on the bus and go to breakfast together. After lunch,
we'll get back on the bus for the completion of the tour and the
WWI 167th Regiment Memorial on the 21st Street Bridge, arriving
at the hotel in plenty of time to rest up or spend more time visiting
in the hospitality room before heading to the banquet. After a good
night's sleep, we'll be ready for the Peace Luncheon on Veterans
Day. After lunch, it's back on the bus for our ride in the Birmingham
Veterans Day Parade.
